| Oak Grove Methodist Church 32056 Herrin Grove Road Mount Pleasant, North Carolina 28124 Located near the Stanly-Cabarrus County line and between the communities of Finger and Mission, Oak Grove exemplifies the rural church built to serve the rural areas of the county. | Morgan Memorial Church Morgan Memorial is located off of NC Highway 200 South in the southwestern part of the county near the town of Stanfield and stands on a hill overlooking the Rocky River. This plain, wood-framed structure was built in 1884 by the descendants of Drury Morgan and has served as a house of worship for Baptist, Lutheran, and Presbyterian congregations.
